I am two weeks away from my way to my first DVC vacation at VWL. (4/30 - 5/5/06) Where is the cheapest place to buy your park tickets? Is there really a discounted price out there? The DVC discounted annual pass is not an option for me. Thanks!

Mousesavers lists a place, but I forget the name. The discounts are not impressive.

Go to undercovertourist.com
It was like $202.00 per adult ticket for 4 days plus they added 2 extra days. So not bad for a total of six days. This includes the tax and shipping of the tickets. It does not have the no expiration option nor does it have the hopper option, that is more. But not so bad for a base ticket.

I always use " The Offical Ticket Center " www.officialticketcenter.com
They're very convenient for pick-up, just 5 min out of the way on the drive in from the airport. The Undercover tourist is up near Universal, not worth the dollar or 2 you might save.
example:
7 Day Park Hopper with 6 pluses and no expiration is $352 at OTC and $350 at TUA.
I haven't found any cheaper. But maybe someone else has a better place.

Being a DVC member I'm sure you'll be going back so I think the no expiration is the way to go.
I'm about to place an order for a May trip myself, so I would be interested if anyone else has any other suggestions.

BTW I'll be at VWL 5/10 - 5/13, and VB 5/6 - 5/10

Have a great trip

Undercovertourist.com will ship the tickets for free, I believe you don't need to go anywhere to pick them up.

DVC members get 10% off "regular" prices. You can buy at the resort front desk or call DVC member services and order and pay in advance and they will be ready for you to pick up when you check in.

When did DVC start offering 10% discount on park tickets. I know they did for the UPH before MMW tickets came along. I must of missed that one.

They no longer do this. The only discount for tickets DVC members get is the AP discount.

I don't think this is true.

If any of your family is military or retired mil, you can get discounted tkts from Shades of Green. They basically remove the tax.

Can you get an additional military discount off of an already discounted pass?

No, they have their own discount rates. But they might be better than the other wholesalers.
