Welcome to the Dis! It really all depends on if you were comparing apples to apples. Disney currently has 2 different offers out, so you might want to make sure you have all the components of the trips to be the same between the two sites.

I've seen the offers on SW to be the same as what Disney has before. Also, I noted yesterday that Expedia was actually $5 HIGHER than what Disney has on their site for a room at Caribbean Beach. So whenever looking at a third party site, always be sure and come back to Disney & compare the SAME possible reservation.

I did compare and disney was more and did not offer non-stop flight from louisville ky. the room package was more than the total package from southwest. I keep double checking and we are staying at animal kingdom lodge.

Don't book your airlines through Disney's site, book those seperately & see if it might be cheaper.

I just ran the numbers through SW and my Disney trip would be a lot more if I went through them.

I just compared ours on Expedia & Disney, it was $420.00 cheaper on Expedia. BUT Disneys quote incuded insurance & I'm not sure exactly what Disney charged for it & if we really need it. I have never bought the insurance before so I probably won't get it ??
