What is the cheapest month to cruise? We were planning a Dec 2004 cruise but had to cancel because I am pregnant!! So I am looking to book after the baby comes....what months are the cheapest to cruise? For Florida residents especially?

I don't know about Florida residents, but I've found the rates in January and the time period after Thanksgiving and before Christmas to be the least expensive.

Also, booking as early as possible will always give you the best prices. For instance, when the March 2005 dates were released, I printed out a price comparison. I just did a search on those dates again and all stateroom categories are already increased by about 5% of the original list price (all through DCL directly). This cruise is still over a year away and the price has already gone up.

The best rates are usually mid/late September, first 2 weeks of Dec., and January. Of course, this is based on past experience, and could change.....

I suggest going to Travelocity.com and select a cruise "by ship". This is the quickest way I've found to get comparative pricing according to sail date.

The short answer is that the cheapest months to cruise are the same ones that are slowest at WDW: January, September, and early December.

I believe Orbitz.com also has a page where you can compare prices on a particular cruise line week by week, then you can book though whomever you like.

I love the All Seasons Travel website to compare prices:

Just select the length of the cruise and it will give you about 3 months worth of cruises to look over for prices. We have found the prices in September to be the least expensive. They also say there are fewer kids in the clubs (but there seems to be plenty to me, it must be really packed during the summer time).

if you look on allseastravel.com, they list FL res pricing....pretty much same prices all year round except for peak season (summer) and holiday times....i would guess the 2 most inexpensive months would be September and January
