I am so sorry everyone for posting a repetitive post as I have no doubt in my mind it has been used many times. I tried using the search engine to look this up but didn't come up with anything(must have search it wrong). Mom and I(and possible boyfriend and his sister), are planning a trip the first week of december.

Tho we are annual pass holders, we used to have an appartment down there so this was never a question we had, but what are some of the cheapest hotels walking distance from Disneyland?

All suggestions welcome!

Thanks for taking the time everyone :worship:

Don't be sorry about the post. we are all here to help but we usually stay at the park Vue inn. Its 5 min walk to the main gate low prices and free parking . It also has a continental breakfast that's pretty good. www.parkvueinn.com I hope this helps

Good luck

HoJos is the only offsite hotel to offer an AP holder rate. 20% off already pretty cheap, but bigger than average, hotel rooms. 8 min walk (timed it in June), but no breakfast.

If you want THE closest place, then Best Western Park Place Inn. Also Park Vue Inn and Tropicana inn are extremely close. However, these places are more expensive for just average rooms compared to the HoJo. All three do have breakfasts even though they may be just some pastries, juices and coffee. At least it's something.

A little further away (but still walking distance, imo) is the Super 8 on Katella. We walked it with no trouble. I might not want to walk that far in the heat but since you're going in december that shouldn't be a problem. It took us about 15 min to walk it. We paid $50/night in April and it comes with a free breakfast. Not the greatest breakfast (cereal, donuts, coffe) but it was free.

Anaheim Plaza Hotel is across the street and I think it's usually $59 a night. I stayed there last November and it was a short walk.

I have stayed at HOJO only.. So I know it is a nice place and a close walk... Otherwise I stayed with family in Riverside and drove in... (Not as good as choice as the HOJO.. Let me tell you!! )

Here is a map with the hotels in the area... I like this map...

Ohh and I forgot to add.. Even though The Del Sol Inn is really close and probably cheap, from all that I have gathered and read, you should stay away...

We just got back from a 5 day stay at the Desert Inn and Suites. It's one hotel down from the crosswalk and pretty cheap. It's a very basic hotel and has a pretty bad breakfast, but if all you need is a cheap place close by, this would be a good fit.

We like BWPPI and just got back actually. But for our dates, Park Vue Inn was actually the cheapest. BWPPI was second and then the BW Anaheim Inn was a close 3rd in price. Hojo's was a close 4th. And by close I mean all were in the $80 range with AAA or Disboard discounts figured in.
