Cheaper with a package?

I looked to purchase tickets to Sea World however if I book 2 adults and 2 kids the prices of tickets only comes to 319.52.

If I look for a package on their website it comes to 264.52 which includes quick queue (not sure if we even need this as the kids are 9 and 5).

So cheaper for the package but we have already rented a house so do not need accommodation. Has anyone booked a package and not made use of the hotel?

i believe that you get a discount because you are booking a seaworld hotel , and that the discounted park tickets are not available without booking the hotel as well
