flying out of Los Angeles, looking for a cheaper time to go to Disney Paris. Hotel rates lower? What is the off season for Disney Paris / do they have an off season :)?

Curious when you went / how the crowds were. Is two days enough at Disney Paris or would you suggest more?

I went this year in the last week of February and thats about as low season as it gets. Only French schools are on holiday that week, and French families go sking for spring half term. The weeks to avoid are when UK and Irish schools are off, which was the week before I went. I saw reports that it was jammed that week.

So I would look at the last week of February, first week of March. Middle of March starts to get busy again. The only thing about this time is shorter park hours, and both ride and restaurant closures.

I did a two night / 3 day trip. The big difference between American Parks and Paris is that the prices listed on the website are hotel and park ticket packages which include breakfast as standard. You get park tickets for your arrival day AND your departure days. I am from Ireland and I got a 7am flight from my country and was in the park for 1pm.

On my departure day, I checked out, put my luggage in the storage room , had a full day at the park, then when the park closed I collected my parks and stayed the night at a hotel in Val d'Europe, which is right beside Disney. I got my flight home the next day.

to maximise your park time, stay overnight somewhere local like Val d'Europe at each end of your Disney onsite booking.

January/February are quieter (except school hols) but can be freezing cold! I would look at March, early May or September for low crowds and milder weather. Don't forget the 25th anniversary will start in April 2017 which may affect when you want to travel.

I personally wouldn't go in Feb/Mar if I were travelling from the US - unless you are used to it being really COLD! September, mid in particular is a great time to go as the weather is usually still reasonable - you may get some rain, but temps will be OK and it is quiet in the park. We have been once then (pre being tied to school holidays) and it was wonderful - we went mid/end September and caught the beginning of the Halloween decs going up in the park. There were also lots of characters around as they sometimes do their training at this time of year. I would love to go back at this time but it's not doable as we are limited now to outside term time.

As micksn says, the cons of going in quieter/off peak times is you won't get late park hours, so no seeing the park in the dark - it is beautiful all lit up. But you do get less queues during the day so I guess, as a trade, you get more done. If you were just going for say 2 nights, it's no biggie - you could maybe plan the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show one night to 'kill' time, and have a meal in one of the hotels or at the Disney Village the other night.

September is a very good time, but this year there will be inaugural DLP half marathon, September 23rd-25th, so avoid that week end if you can. We don't know how it'll be for sure, but probably very busy.

That's a really good point Zavandor! I would avoid that time, thankfully it's quite a short period.
