Loved Steve Martin, loved Bonnie Hunt, DD loves Hilary Duff. I laughed so hard I was crying. Really sweet movie. I guess it is more of a chick flick because the boys all bailed out at the last minute. I do think they would have enjoyed it though.

We went and seen in Last Sunday when it was a sneak preview. LOVED IT. I want to see it again.
We took our 12, 8 ,8 ( dh's) and the one and only son 5- and they all loved it. Noah is still talking about it..

I really wanted to see this movie this weekend, but didn't get a chance. Now I will have to make the time - the previews looked very funny and I love Steve Martin!

I absolutely HATED this movie! I was truly looking forward to seeing it and I left the theatre furious! I don't want to give the movie away, but I thought that the ending was utterly horrible! Why should the parent have to give up everything for what I thought were a bunch of surly, uncooperative and disrespectful bratty kids!?!

Oh well, to each his own I guess.

Brittany & I loved it too!! The theater was pretty full, noone wanted to leave when the credits started rolling.

I kind of "cringed" with the couple of only child references, however, I realise it was "artistic license" as there were a couple of ton of kids sterotypes too.

Steve Martin really did a good job! He was very believeable as the father of 12.

I too, wasn't crazy abt the ending. I won't comment here as I don't want to give it away.

I hope they make a sequel.

My dad's favorite gifts are a night out with his girls (and anything Cubs!), so I am taking him to a theatre/restaurant/bar tonight!

I thought this was a good choice, since I am still uncomfortable at 27 watching a love scene with my Daddy!

We saw this Christmas Day (me, dh, ds-5, and my mom) and we all loved it. Mom and I laughed out loud through most of it. DS was giggling like a maniac. DH is a tough one to crack, but he said he liked it.

We had eleven people altogether watching as a group, so we felt like we were LIVING Cheaper By the Dozen...funny, we didn't get a group discount into the movie, though...

LOVED this movie - kids and adults thought it was funny.

My dgrdd & I went on Sat. and we really loved it. She really laughed at a few parts. Coming from a large family myself it was really great. I didn't mind the ending myself but then I think for the parents things really went their way. I think the only child part was really played up as a nerotic mother of an only child. The father was okay and so was the kid.
