Hi

We were at Disney in January and had a GREAt time! We did not rent a car, so were unable to get to a grocery store or Wal-Mart to buy water, snacks, etc. for our stay.

The first day of our stay we went to Downtown Disney and decided to walk over to the HESS gas station across from the bus stops at Pleasure Island. We were able to buy 2 cases of Desani Water (24 bottles in total) for $6.00. Great deal in comparison to the high prices in the parks. They also sell a small selection of snacks and groceries. We were able to easily carry these onto the bus with us.

Just thought I'd pass on this deal!

Great tip! I didn't have a car either. We boiled tap water in our hotel room coffee maker every night and then chilled it in the fridge. That was free, but I'd rather pay $6.00 for bottled water.

If you buy one of the resort refillable mugs at the beginning of your stay you can also fill them up with water and transfer the water to an empty bottle in your room.
DD will only drink watered down orange juice, so each day I bought a bottle of fresh orange and then filled her mug with water from the refilable mug area. we saved a fortune during our trip.

I work at Staples home office and we had a customer order 2 cases of water and had it delivered to their Disney hotel. Don't have to lug it, don't have to transferr it. And, my husband is a diabetic so we always request a fridge in the room as he needs to store his insulin in one -- so even if you're not in a room w/ a kitchen or kitchenette, there are ways to obtain a fridge and keep the water cold.

I've ordered water from Staples for my last two trips. It's a great service. We've brought a collapsible cooler, filled a gallon size baggie with ice, and kept up to six bottles cold at a time for almost two days without having to refill with ice.

Great tip what did you use to store water in? Did you bring it or was it in the room? I'm thinking I understand why people fill up things other than their mugs they are not cheating as they bought the mugs just saving a step Am I right??

Go to www.staples.com. There are a few brands - not sure on actual prices.
