Cheap things to do in London

I went to the the theatre last night for a measily £12 (saw Blood Brothers) and because there were so few people around we were upgraded to the best seats, worth about £45!

So check out lastminute.com or visitlondon.com as there are such good deals on at the moment, I know its not a great time to be in London but for those of us that live and work here, we have to be here anyway so might as well make the most of it!

This is my second week of a 3 month project in the centre of London, being a Cornishman I am not much of a "townie" but I cannot see how your comment holds any water.



Now is as good a time to be in London as it was last August and the August before, some of us could not give a flying rats a** about bombs and terrorists, perhaps because I refuse to be pushed around. The attitude that London is best left alone at the moment is pathetic and weak spirited (in my humble opinion).

On the upside, it is nice and easy to get around with only "average" numbers of tourists etc...

Sorry for the Rant, but it is just the way I feel

Hey Kernow_Clan, it IS a small world after all, check my location!
I think also Florida-again is just erring on the side of caution, would agree that whilst many people may not think its a great time to be in London I also think a lot of people will have the same (right) attitude as yourself, stuff the terrorists and evil minded intentions, lets get on with life!

I did indeed thank you, can;t deny the slight lack of enthusiasm on the part of the actors but they were playing to a nearly empty auditorium mid-week, I don;t think I;d be enthusiastic either!
