Cheap Rental ?

I always read on here about how people get such good rental deals. How in the world do you do it? I have been searching for a month now for a minivan rental for June for Madison, WI. The cheapest I can find for 6/15-6/24 is $610. We are driving it to Florida and back, so one with unlimited miles is necessary. Granted we are splitting the cost with my sister, but sheesh! It seems like a lot when I see what good deals some of you get.

Is it just because we live in Madison and there isn't a lot of rental places?

Try Budget using BCD Number x474200 (travelocity public code) and E-Coupon MUGZ029 for $30.00 off. Total for minivan is $362.01 after coupon is applied when you return vehicle. It includes unlimited mileage but I would double check with Budget to make sure that it is not limited to travel within the state. There is a location at the airport as well but cheaper to pickup at the location in town:

I just did exactly that as you stated and I got $447.60. I'm not going to complain because it's way cheaper than the $600 I was finding!

You are looking a bit too far out from your travel. The prices tend to drop the closer you get to your travel date. We find a lot of these discounts on mousesavers.com

There is a lot of different threads on here with different codes but Budget seems to have one of the better ones for minivan rentals. I used the 24hr clock so like 9:00AM on Jun 15 - 9:00AM on Jun 24th. If you used a different time that could be why the price is different. Picking up at the airport is also more and I just checked. It is $437.83 before $30 coupon or $407.83 after coupon is applied when return vehicle.
