We are trying to figure out our rehearsal dinner/Welcome party. If we go the rehearsal route, we will have about 25 people. If we do the Welcome dinner route, we might have about 60 people. That being said, we need to keep the cost down since we will be paying for it. Any suggestions? Probably in Downtown Disney? Thank you

We didn't have a rehearsal/welcome party there, but we did meet up with lots of our guests at Raglan Road on our first night there. We had so much fun! It is a good place for a relaxed meal, and the menu has a good variety for everyone!

We are having a welcome dinner for the bridal party and our parents/siblings at 1900 Park Fare!

Two inexpensive options I have seen are: a welcome afternoon tea at the Garden View Tea Room at the GF. I have also heard of people just going to Publix and picking up deli platters and desserts and serving them in a DVC room.

How much are you looking to spend per person?

depending on the number of ppl that RSVP are hope is to have a park with cake, platters, pizza, and wings in a DVC villa...if too many ppl rsvp then we will do something at Cali Grill

This is what we did last year. We rented a DVC villa at the WL and went to Publix and bought a bunch of platters, ect. It worked out great!

We're having a welcome dinner at Bongos at DTD ~ but we're having all of the guests attend. But, they were really accommodating with creating the dinner options.

It also depends on the crowd and the vibe. What we liked about Bongos was that it serves great food (Cuban) ~ yummy Sangria ~ and is nice but not too fancy, it will be a time for people to mix and mingle before the wedding.

HTH!

We are having our Welcome dinner at Turf Club Grill at Saratoga Springs Resort. It is reasonable, quiet and rarely booked up. I think the menu is suitable for all ages ans tastes and it is within strolling distance of DTD for the people who want to continue the evening at the bars and shops there!!!
