I live in Kansas City and procrastinated about buying ponchos for our 20 day trip that starts this Sunday. It doesn't seem like any stores here have them in stock because of the weather. I assume that they are sold year round in Orlando. We are staying at Orange lake that has a Target and Walmart nearby but wanted recommendations from people that have bought ponchos near Disneyworld. We will have a car, so driving a little ways isn't a problem. Thanks

Check Walmart in the camping section or in the purse dept. Look for the umbrella stand in the purse dept and there are poncho's there.

They will cost you a little bit more but are a better plastic than some of the real cheap / thinly made ones, the Disney outlets in Orlando sell the Walt Disney World ones. I found the kids ones to be cheaper than the parks. I think the adult ones were pretty much the same price, but could have been a couple dollars cheaper. You can search the Disney Character Warehouse for locations.

we always go to Gala gifts. It is on International drive. It is located behind the Seafood buffet. Next to Don Pablos. The tourist center is also right next door. This is our favorite shoobie store when in Orlando. Always a must stop.

I bought 4 disney themed ponchos (thankfully I didn't have to use them) 5.95
.

The Publix by my house sells them. They are yellow with Mickey on them. They have a little Disney section next to the candy. I assume they all do around here, and we have a Publix on every corner it seems.

Last time we were there, Super Target had them for $2. I know there were some with Mickey on them. I think there were some with Minnie, too. We go to the new Target on Irlo Bronson. There's a big Disney section in the very front on the side that isn't the grocery entrance. The ponchos have always been right in front of the carts on that side.

I really appreciate the suggestions. Having a Disney logo on the poncho would mean something to my daughter and son. We will go to the park on Sunday and leave around 1. The kids can go swimming or whatever they want to do at the resort and I'll do a little grocery shopping and look for ponchos before going back to the parks at night.
