Cheap QS for food

Hi all!

I'm looking to save as much money as possible on my upcoming 8 day trip (11 days away). What are your favorite inexpensive (perspective here, I know it's Disney!) quick service restaurants? Or even some table service. I'd like to spend a max of $11 per lunch/dinner meal. Thus allowing some room to buy ice cream. Not really into soft pretzels or snacky food. But willing to try anything.

Last trip in March, I tried some very expensive restaurants and while it was fun, it was not worth the value! So i'd rather save/eat cheaper. I did Boma for dinner one night, which was good, but I thought the dessert selection lacked for a $40 or $50 dinner, whatever the cost was. Good, but not worth the money.

Ideas? I'll be at all 4 parks ;) plus the waterparks.

If you aren't a big eater, you can go with the kid's QS meals. I always find plenty to eat with those and they are normally under $9. Pecos Bills at MK has pretty big servings and has the toppings bar. The plate at Tangerine Cafe at Morocco are pretty filling and I've never been able to finish the fish and chips at the QS in UK at Epcot. I haven't tried it but I watched the video Craig put out about the pork sliders at the kiosk at HS and it looked huge. I get the fried rice at Yak and Yeti and am never able to finish it. You can a free cup of water at all the QS locations.

Sadly I do have a big appetite LOL! I LOVE Tusker House. I did eat a few kids meals last trips and i agree, the servings were pretty generous. Thank you for your suggestions! I'll definitely take notes.

We are going to try Casey's Corner for an inexpensive meal next trip at the MK. The corn dog nugget meal has been mentioned as well liked by many (and it's a decent price).

If you are travelling with someone, the rib/half chicken combo at Cosmic Rays is a good one to split. In AK, I have also heard the fried rice side dish as Yak & Yeti (Counter Service window - not TS section) is big enough for a meal. (You could even add an egg roll if you need more.)

France QS in Epcot is great for a light lunch! I had the ham & cheese croissant, and it's like $5 so room in budget for dessert.

If you get an ice cream cookie at Plaza ice cream parlour, it is VERY splitable, if you can agree on a flavor!
You may do well to get QS at a resort, as the portions seem more generous: make your own pasta at POR comes to mind. and pizza at Wolfgang Puck Express, DTD

Flame Tree BBQ was great in AK. But I must admit we haven't been there for a few years. I'm planning around it this year on our AK day to make our main meal. Huge portions in the past.
