Where are some cheap places to eat other than cs meals/fast food.

Is there any cheap buffets?

What are some prices?

Thanks!

I would suggest you head over to www.allearsnet.com. Click on Dining. Scroll down the next page to Menus. Click there and you'll see a complete list of all Disney restaurants complete with menus and prices. This will help you plan your meals.

I agree, trails end buffet is the best bang for the buck!! and its really good and great service too.

Going for a late lunch instead of dinner will save money. And while Beaches & Cream serves diner-type food (hamburgers, etc.) I wouldn't call it fast food! I think all the entrees are less than $10.

Another vote here for Trails End. Best kept secret of WDW.

DH is a very big eater so we tend to go to alot of buffets, our favorites are Cape May for breakfast and dinner, CP for breakfast and dinner and Beirgarten, we get our monies worth at these places. Tangerine Cafe and WPE in DTD are CS places that have huge portions for a reasonable price.

thanks!
What does WPE stand for?
Does CS stand for counter service? Still new at all the abreviations.

mickeystoontown & Mickey-4-Me thanks for the sites

Wolfgang Puck Express located next to the Xmas shop in Downtown Disney. THey have the best pizzas, rotisserie beef and chicken, soups, salads, amazing sandwiches, pastas...the place is the best, the portions huge and the prices are very reasonable. The fresh brewed mango ice tea is yummy

WPE=Wolfgang Puck Express. Try the Margherita pizza, I guarantee you will never want to eat any other pizza for the rest of your life.

Most places you can be seated for lunch until 2:30 or 3:00. However, it varies by restaurant. I ask for the latest available lunch seating when I call. Then you'll be done around 4:30 or so, and usually we get a snack or a light CS around 8:00.

Lunches are less expensive than dinner as a rule. The lunch buffet at Trails End is VERY reasonably priced. You can get there by taking a boat from the MK.

First of all, welcome to the DIS!

The Pepper Market at Coronado Springs Resort is technically a CS restaurant, but it's really more of a CS/TS hybrid. Here's a summary of how it works, copied mostly from allearsnet:

Upon entering, you are escorted to a table and presented with a ticket. You order your beverages, then walk around selecting the foods you want, and your ticket is stamped. You pick up your entrees at the counter where it was ordered. When you exit the Market you pay your bill.

That's not the best explanation--maybe someone else on here will be able to improve on it. For a CS, it's on the expensive side, but for a TS it's pretty cheap--nothing is over $20, including steak. Kids' meals are less than $5. Also keep in mind that they do automatically add a gratuity, but only 10%.

You can also peruse the other menus in this area of the DIS to find restaurants that will work for you. Have fun!
