Why are kid's pajamas so expensive?! GRRRR...:headache: DS is on the verge of outgrowning most of his, so I am on the hunt. Where do you find cheap jammies (besides garage sales)? :confused3

I got an email today that disney has pj pals buy 1 get 1 free. Hope this helps. Otherwise there is always ebay.

I got my DD2 PJ Pals online at Disney and I paid 6.13 each +shipping. I think it was 1/2 off at the time, and then I had a Disney Visa code which took an extra 15% off. I was happy!!

Are actual pajamas really important to you? This year, we started buying cotton shorts and tshirts from our local thrift store for pjs. Just as comfy and MUCH cheaper!

In the summer, my boys like to wear boxers and t-shirts to bed. When it's hot, they just go with the boxers. If they have any t-shirts that are stained or ripped or otherwise can't be worn during the day, they become PJ shirts. Target and other stores have 3-packs of boxers that are fairly cheap.

That's my DS's jammies as well.:thumbsup2

Mine, too, even in the winter. Neither one of them can stand to be too warm.

If you are a Costco member, they often have Carter's 3 piece sets (shirt, pants, shorts) for $8.99. My son has a ton of those. I also like the Disney Store ones when I can get them cheap.

I get most of my kid's pj's at thrift shops. The others we've gotten at Children's Place on clearance (usually around $5).

You can also check your local craigslist. I bought 3 pairs of new in package pjs last year for $5.

Mine too, year round!

Boxer shorts and plain white undershirts. Cheap no matter where you buy them and they all mix and match. Better yet my nephews would bathe at night put on their clean boxers then in the morning they just used them for underwear.

They've been wearing them since they were toddlers, we might have started out with cotton shorts until they grew into boxers, but same concept.. We used to switch to lightweight knit pants for the winter (even bought girls elastic waist pants one year, but not pink or purple), but they want boxers year round (ten years old this weekend) and no shirt in the summer.

Way cheaper than pajamas. They have charecter boxers and you can never have too many white tshirts.

That's the cheapest! You can check Marshalls or TJ Maxx, I have gotten some off season stuff really cheap and put them back for the next year. DD still loves to wear over sized tees to bed.

Mine has to have long pants for bed. Kohl's (50% plus coupon) or Burlington has the best deals on Carter's, my favorite brand.

Anyone seen any good deals on PJ pants or real pajamas?

I too went hunting for PJ's this year and they wanted $26 to $30(shorts with a top). I got one set on clearance from sears $7 had my mom cut and hem those babies into shorts. Then at Kohl's I found 3 sets for $5.30 that had been $28 to $30. And at Penny's they had separates for $3.99 with additional 20% off. Viola done with PJ's shopping.

I found really nice flannel pjs for dd and myself at K-mart -the brand name is Joe Boxer. I don't usually shop there, but they are really soft and cheap. At Christmas they were bogo. I'm not sure what the summer ones are like.

I got cheap throw-away women's PJs at Kmart for something like $6 a boxer set last year. They might have cheap kids ones, too.

My son usually uses cotton or sports short with a t-shirt (or not). We have about 5 cotton T-shirts from various sports, reading programs, etc. and I just go sports short for $3 at Walmart.

My DS (4) thought he won the lottery when I told him on a hot night that his jammies would be just his underwear. "You mean just like Daddy?!" :lmao: Ever since that has been all he wants to sleep in. Every once in awhile he'll want to put on a big shirt, but mainly it's just underwear!
