Hi Everyone
Seems a few of us have kindles and I am always looking for good cheap books to read and I know I have read some great FREE ones...do you wanna share what you got and how much you liked it? Fits in with Budget Board right?
Some of the free ones I got a while ago but wanted to list them anyway
Here are a few I read:
Learn me Good by John Pearson $2.99
Its about a guy who becomes a teacher and writes emails to his friend at his old job about being a teacher, VERY funny!!!

Critical Care by Candace Calbery FREE
Great about a nurse overcoming PTSD

The Ocean Inside by Janna McMaham Free now $4.09

A Scattered Life by Karen McQuestion, I got it for Free
GREAT GREAT book!!!!

I also read a lot of Elin Hildenbrand, love her books they all take place on Nantukcet, but they are between $6.99 and 12.99

I am reading Beautiful Lies by Lisa Unger, I got it for free and so far so good

I love that Kindle has introduced me to authors I would have never read before

Right now, Amazon is offering Outlander by Diana Gabaldon as a free Kindle book. This is an excellent story, and a book that I have actually re-read a few times. It is very rare for me to re-read a book.

Currently, there are 7 books in the series, and this is the first book. It is a book that I always recommend to someone looking for a good story to read.

Hi... I'm new here and had to register to share this, but there's a great blog out there that lists ALL the freebies, and she also lists a lot of the discounted books. Its booksontheknob.blogspot.com

I don't think I've seen her miss a single book over the past few years that I've seen listed elsewhere.

I got my kindle for the Mother's Day 2010, and have over 100 totally free books on it, that are not out of copywrite classics. And I'm rather particular about which ones I download, I don't chose those that don't interest me.

I am always checking Amazon's free books every other day or so, and just happened to 'buy' this right before reading this thread. Can't wait to start reading it.

The second book in that Candace Calvert series went on sale once for $1.59. It's back up over $8 now but the 3rd book in the series was just released this week so maybe they'll do a sale on the previous novels again. I hardly ever read Christian Fiction but I did like these two books.

Jenny Crusie's Bet Me is still $2.99

The first in Lisa Kleypas's Travis Family series went on sale this week for $2.99

The first book in Alazon Jacabson's FBI Thriller series is currently free and the third book is on free pre-order (releases next week I believe).

One of Robyn Carr's Virgin River series books went on sale this week for $2.84. Unfortunately it was one of my least favorite in that series - Forbidden Falls.

I'd recommend you instead buy the combined edition of the first 4 books for $9.99. Like many longer series the beginning of the series is the strongest.

The first book in Lisa Gardner's DD Warren Series is still $2.39

Jaqueline Carey - Santa Olivia $2.99 - kind of a Sci Fi Futuristic super hero thing. I remember reading this awhile ago and enjoying it.

Kensington Books released a slate of freebies this week. The one I've picked up is According to Jane.

Well, too many others to list.

there is a group on faceboo k- I like it because it posts to my wall. I don't have to remember to go look at a blog.

search for "Free books for kindle" on FB and you should find it. Of course, I have only had a kindle for a couple of days :)

I read an awesome book called Soul Identity that offered a new perspective on what happens to your soul. Not in a preachy way. It is more of a mystery than anything super awesome.

thank you for this thread. I just got my kindle on Thursday. Just spent the past hour adding 25 free books :thumbsup2

Thanks so much. I got the book from the library, but gave up reading it because the book was so thick it hurt my hands. I just downloaded it :goodvibes
