Cheap hotels near wdw for one night

Anyone know any safe, cheap hotels close to Disney? Looking to drive down the night before our resort stay starts so we can hit the parks first thing and don't lose a day. Nothing fancy, just somewhere to sleep for 8 hours.

We have booked the Buena Vista Suites...there are 5 of us though, so we need the suite style. It includes free breakfast, and was $99 for the night. We booked it for the night before we check in to Disney, as we are driving down and aim to hit Orlando by about 5 that day.

We couldn't book it for the day we leave Disney, it had no availability, so we are booked at the Quality Inn Suites...same deal.

There were a few cheaper places, but with 5 it didn't work for us..

How about one of the value resorts? Depending on when you are coming or if there are any specials they can be relatively inexpensive and you'll already on property.

Wyndham Lake Buena Vista can generally be had for under $100 and you can walk to DTD. It's clean but dated. Excellent service.

But, I have stayed at the Super 8 across from Old Town along with The Palms Hotel and Villas. Both were under $69 and clean. no resort fees.

The Palms has kitchens and separate bedrooms and what not. Great service- McDonalds and Publix close.

Super 8 is basic- don't expect a 5 star. Clean. Quiet. And there's Denny's there. Close to McDonalds and Publix.

Both if those are literally less than 5 minutes to parking at EPCOT.
