'Cheap Hotel'

Hi,
We're leaving fow WDW in August and looking for somewhere cheap but clean for our first night.(To save on Friday night points)
Has anyone done this and if so, any recomendations around the '192' area.

My best luck has been w/ Priceline....stayed at the Best Western in DTD for $29 last year...bid 3* WDW area.

We've done the priceline thing several times before for the weekend before we check in to DVC. If you want to check out what some other folks have gotten try... www.biddingfortravel.com

Be sure to read the FAQ before asking any questions as the moderator there is very "business oriented".

Also there are some codes for Disney hotels in August . Check out www.mousesavers.com for those.

And I have also heard of some folks that had a postcard rate of $49 for the all stars and pop century for August. Others were able to get it by asking for it without actually having the postcard. You might check out the resorts board and budget board, for some posts regarding the $49 rate. The good thing about staying onsite would be that Disney will move your luggage for you. This worked well for us in May. We stayed at Pop Century and they moved our luggage to BCV for us. Best of luck and have a great trip.
