Cheap hotel outside Univ, 1 nt

The title says it all. Any suggestions? We are planning a one night stay at RPH for a visit to IOA but will need to stay somewhere cheap after a day of fun. I know there are LOTS of hotels but a little direction on the good ones would be beneficial.

The Doubletree and Holiday Inn can have some great rates. Even the Hyatt Place offers some good ones.

How cheap are you looking for?

Does anyone have any experience with the Days Inn? Its only $40 a night - and according to google maps, very close...

This is one we stayed at. Nice, clean and hot free breakfast buffet.

Less than $80 a night

Has a separate bedroom, living room and kitchen in the room. Right by a CICI's pizza!!

We booked the Bestwestern Plus Universal Inn for 70 a night but really can't tell you anything about the hotel since it's our first stay there

My kids stayed at the La Quinta and said it was fine for one night. It is on Major Blvd. It had waffles for breakfast. That impressed them.

DO NOT stay at the Days Inn by the front gate!

Stayed there for 1/2 of a night! Worst hotel experience we have ever had. We left at 3 A.M.

It is cheap for a reason.....
