Ok I dont want some seeded hotel that is a dump but I do need something rather cheap for our upcoming march trip. Any suggestions? We basically only sleep in the room and wont be swimming or anything like that. I can get a condo for about 550 but I would like to get something cheapier. I would like it to be nicer too. There is only 2 adults going. Any help would be greatly appreicated!

March is spring break time - high season.

so if you are lucky try here

www.skyauction.com

usa/canada - the Florida - looking for something with 7 nights and the fee is $195 per week - this should be a timeshares.

I don't like the hotels - their fee is $32 per night. Don't like the airlines ones - I don't think $195 per person is a great deal at all.

not so lucky?
www.condodirect.com - but these aren't the bargin they once were - you will probably pay more. during spring break alot more.

you can also call the mom and pop hotels that Kissimmee still has

www.floridakiss.com

you want the listing that don't have a website.

you want something quick and easy -
www.hotelkingdom.com

Subscribe to travelzoo.com and see what comes along. I got Sheraton Safari, which is a 3 star hotel, for $59/night.

I actually do not think it is high season anymore. I did a poll already and almost everyone's spring breaks are in April now because of Easter. Thanks for the ideas though!

spring break starts President week and goes until the week AFTER Easter - there will be some that have spring break even longer - but not enough to cause problems.

most of the time Orange, Osceola, Lake, Polk county have March breaks - these are the counties that surround WDW.

here is the spring break for some colleges
http://www.tripsmarter.com/panamacity/springbreak/sbcalendar.htm

here is florida counties - spring break is table 2
http://www.firn.edu/doe/eias/eiaspubs/pdf/calendar.pdf

you can also tell when spring break is over for WDW - their prices go down. Spring break is peak season and in 2007 goes from Feb 15 to April 15.

so March is in the middle of school break.

remember that you have 50 states - (not just Florida) - many states won't come to Florida and those that do - most won't come to Orlando - beaches are more popular - but the ones that do make March peak season.

Back in April 2005 we stayed at the Best Western Movieland on International Drive. It was very nice. The rates were very affordable. I would stay there again.

I don't know what the rates would be when you will be there but we were very happy with the Fairfield Inn at Marriott Village. For Oct 1 thru 4 we got a rate of 59.00 thru the AAA web site. This included a very nice breakfast buffet.
