Cheap hotel in Val d'Europe?

Hey everyone-

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to DLP area hotels, as all we've ever done are daytrips. However, when thinking about our next daytrip to see the decs and special entertainment, I started wondering if there was a way to cheaply stay overnight. That way we could see more and not be as stressed. I'm thinking we'd have to get 2 rooms though, as we are 6 people, which is always annoying. Amenities don't matter at all to us as it's really just a place to crash for the night, but it'd be nice to have a clean room at least.

Any suggestions? Ideas on what prices would be during French school vacation (high season)? Options for a group of 6 cheaply? Also, is there any other way to get to the parks without taking the RER 1 stop?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Adagio city val d'europe has apartments for up to 8 people with kitchen so you can self cater cheaply. It's right next to the shopping centre and has a shuttle bus stop 200 meters from the door. We stayed there for 4 nights over October school holidays in a 1 bedroom apartment that could sleep 4 and only cost 120 euros. Have a look on booking.com and Expedia there are plenty apartments in val d'europe and all reasonable prices.

The Hipark Serris is also nice and is in walking distance to the parks if you want to avoid public transport. It takes around 20 minutes to walk to DLP. It is also on the route of the PEPs 50 bus route but this can be very busy at peak times and although it's in Val d'Europe it's a bit of a walk from the RER station. I stayed there during my last visit but I think next time I will stay somewhere closer to the RER station as the trains are so regular and run all day, whereas the PEPs bus is much less frequent.

Interesting to hear the Hipark is walkable in 20 mins. I was considering walkability as a factor (just in case I wanted to stay beyond the last RER train), and the Hipark looks like quite a good compromise between a resort available by RER and a resort available by walking.

In the end though I went for the élysee for my upcoming trip, which is much closer to the RER (I don't imagine I would be there beyond the last train back, and if for some reason I am it's only another 10 minutes further).

Thanks for the ideas everyone! I'll look them over and see if it's worth it to us to stay the night.
