I'm planning a trip to Orlando next month, while planning the trip I got across this book - *********.com/guide.html
I was wondering if anyone has read this book and if it's recommended.
thank you in advance
John

:welcome: to the DIS!
I have not read that book - but there have been some other reviews of it here and most people said if you spend just a little time here on the DIS you will learn more than that book can offer.

2 books I DO like are The Unofficial Guide to WDW and Passporter Guide to WDW.

If you have specific questions on how to take a budget trip to Disney I'd be happy to answer.

Thank you for the nice welcome.
I had some free time today so I decided to read this book in addition to this forum.
It is amazing to learn how to make the trip while spending much less without any compromises.
I recommend you to take a look,
John.

Welcome to the DIS Boards! You're gonna really like it here! :earsboy: I haven't read the book either, nor do I really do my research with books. But I do hear great things about the Unofficial Guide that was already mentioned.

I highly recommened allears(dot)net for your online research. That site has helped me out immensely for my Christmas trip last year! :goodvibes Good luck, and I hope you find everything you're looking for!

I purchased the online insiders book in 2008 and I am able to this day to update it and get the newer version every year. I have been to Disneyworld 8 times and planning my 9th trip for early/mid December. Even having been several times I still found new information within the guide. It is amazing how many "secrets" are out there that are to find out regarding Disneyworld!

Hello and welcome!

As previous posters have also mentioned, I'd really recommend the "unofficial guide". Not only is it an enjoyable read, it's also very informative.
It has some great touring guides, which we used last year. We got on with them really well, and allowed us to "do" a park in a day. The book also gives you access to their website where there are even more plans, and crowd calculators etc etc.

Best of luck with the planning! Make sure you enjoy it :)
