Cheap/clean Hotels within walking distance

So I suddenly find myself going to DLR for Spring Break. We will not have a car so we will be walking from the hotel. Two adults so a bit of a walk is not a problem, just don't want to be on the wrong side of the freeway or something like that.
Mostly we want a clean place to sleep and to be able to walk to the parks.
We are looking at:
Alamo Inn at 1140 W. Katella
Motel 6 at 100 W. Disney Way
Super 8 at 915 Disneyland Dr.
Days Inn Anaheim West at 1030 Ball Rd.

Any recent stays?
If we stay at the Super 8 or Days Inn are there sidewalks the whole way? It is hard to tell on the maps.
Any help will be appreciated.

We've stayed at the Motel 6 & it's a pretty good walk. We ended up using the shuttle to get to & from. At the end of a long day, that walk could seem like forever!! The rooms we're good sized & they did a big remodel not that long ago.

I can't help on the other ones. Did you check to see if you could get the Entertainment Rate at the HoJo during your dates?? This motel is very nice, close walk, super comfy beds, awesome water play area as well as pool. Something to at least check into!!

Good luck & have a great trip!!

Thanks!
I had not thought of the entertainment rates. I will check them out.
When you say the shuttle is that the ART bus? (I think that is what it it called) OR did motel 6 have a shuttle?

How were the wait times for the shuttle?

We've stayed at the super 8 on Katella twice and it's within walking distance. It's certainly not the closest hotel but we walked it with no problems. It probably took us 15-20 minutes with several adults, 2 kids in strollers and a 12 and 14 year old. They have free parking and a free (small) breakfast. It's not my favorite place but for the price it's pretty good especially if you're just looking for a place to sleep. It's also right next to the GardenWalk if you're looking for an off-site place to eat. I'm not that familiar with the hotels on your list so not sure where they are exactly but just looking at the addresses, i think at least some of them are on the other side of DLR which wouldn't be as close or convenient for walking, even if it looks close on the map.

Thanks!

Yes I'm talking about ART.....we really were underwhelmed with the them. We were the last stop on their route & if they filled up, they'd skip us. We had tickets for ToonTown Morning Madness & ended up missing it because the bus never showed up until too late. We stood outside from 6:45am for the 7:15 bus (1st one of the day) & didn't get on a bus until 9am. Then they had the nerve to tell us to squeeze in more people after waiting that long at another stop....he said, make room for them or we'll just sit here & wait. I couldn't believe it!!

If you can get a bit closer, I think you'll be much happier. The shuttle buses can get quite full & people at the stops tend to push their way in line to get on before you. Every trip we had one sleeping toddler in our arms, a stroller & bags from that days purchases & had to stand every single time......no one would offer a seat to the one holding the child & trying to balance. We found there is no such thing as a neat & orderly line. We would be "in line" & still have 20 people push & get on before we would. Ugh....just don't need that kind of stress when at Disneyland.

look at desert inn right across the street if hojo dont have ent rate

Thanks for the input...
Anyone else stayed at:

Alamo Inn at 1140 W. Katella
Motel 6 at 100 W. Disney Way
Super 8 at 915 Disneyland Dr.
Days Inn Anaheim West at 1030 Ball Rd.

Thanks again for any help.

Its not on your list but we stayed at the Ramada Maingate recently. It was great and SO so close to the parks.

I stayed at the Super 8 back in 2005, so my opinion might be a bit dated. I would never stay there again (and haven't). The carpets were disgusting. My feet were black within 5 minutes and the bathroom was gross too. The walk is doable, but very long as well. I'd look into the BWAnaheim. It's a lot closer with a decent price and very nice rooms.

Just stayed at the Ramada maingate as well! (watch out when booking online! there are two Ramada Maingates! One is right across the street from Disneyland, the other is down the road some!)
Too bad Spring break rates are higher, when we went in January we got 3 nights for well under $200!! (one room). Used a corporate discount as well as a AAA discount. I would have booked it again if it were less expensive this time around.

I hear wonderful things about the Motel 6 mentioned.

Desert Inn and Suites is pretty nice (really close too)
The Alpine is pretty nice too. (nice firm beds)
