Cheap Car Rental

at Costco.com. That is for Alamo in Orlando anyway. What you need to do is go to Costco.com (don't need to be a costco member BTW) and click on travel. Then click on rental cars. Then look for whatever "coupons" or "deals" they have on the left hand side. If there is a deal there that interests you, click on it then it will guide you through the rest.

I've checked too many times to count on how to get the lowest rate, and I've found nothing lower than costco.com

I would be very carefull. I have the same deal using costco.com and have a mini-van picked up at Tampa airport and dropped off 2wks later at Orlando airport...my final cost after tax is $365. This also includes an extra driver at no charge and unlimited mileage.

However, we all know how it works. If you get the right counter clerk, you won't have to show your Costco card but if you get the wrong clerk, you'd better have a card.

Just go to Costco and sign up. I'm in Canada and the price here is $50/yr. If I'm not mistaken, it's $45 in the US. You get a whole year to use it as much as you want and the best part is, if you change your mind at any time during that year...they will refund the whole cost of the membership.

Trust me...I work for Costco and when we get to our villa in Orlando in 2wks, our first stop is Costco for groceries and a digital camera. (no...I don't get a staff discount)
