Ok I have never rented a car but my friend and I along with our children are going to a resort nearby and neither one of us has a big enough car to fit all of us so we are thinking about renting one..The problem I am running into is that none of the car rentals in my area are open on a Sunday, which would be the day we need to pick up...So i'm assuming that means I'd have to rent the car for an extra day, that I don't even need it? we know we need either a van or a large SUV..anyone have any advice for me? We don't want to spend a fortune but I think it'll be cheaper to rent a vehicle as compared to gas for 2 cars, or am I wrong? thanks!
