I need suggestions for cheaper restaurants at Disney Resorts and Parks that still give that Disney feel...theming, location, food quality, service.

Any ideas???

You may want to check out the menus at www.wdwig.com. Also, dining at a restaurant at lunch time will offer lower priced entrees with the same ambiance. You could do your big sit-down meal in the middle of the day and a light dinner. Just a thought.

We have done many late lunches, early dinners!! If you get an ADR for around 2-3pm it works great. The restaurants are usually less crowded, and you get the lunch price rather than dinner pricing. Most of the time it is the exact same menu.

Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD, the food is awesome, huge portions and reasonable prices.

Columbia Harbor House in MK is one of our favorite "cheap" places to eat. The food is good and the atmosphere is a lot quieter than other counter places in MK (particularly upstairs). We also like Yakitori House in Japan at Epcot... a lot of people don't even know it's there!

What a great idea!

A great way to save money is to have lunch at a sit down restaurant rather then dinner. The menu is basically the same but has lower prices.

Here are some suggestions:
Full Service
LTT - lunch, Kona, Boatwrights, Beaches & Cream, GF Cafe, ESPN Club

CS
Roaring Forks, POR Foodcourt (the best), Tangerine Cafe, Earl of Sandwich, Cookes

Definitely check out the menus that should help alot.

The hidden jewel everyone talks about here is Trails End at Fort Wilderness. It is a buffet and 17.99 for dinner, 12.99 for lunch and 11.99 for breakfast. They also have to go's of Pizza of Fried Chicken to feed a family of 4 for under $20. You can check out the menu's on aalearsnet.com.

PS.. this is the same food they serve at the Hoop De Doo so the quality is good

Wolfgang Puck Express! Great food, and quick - the chicken quesadilla was fabulous (but order it with the sauces on the side, or it's too goopy!).

The artists palette at SSR is great. It is counter service but they have delicious flat breads, salads and entrees. For the kids, there are easels for coloring, and big windows looking out to the pool area make it a nice dining area.
