So we are driving down to Disney World Florida from South Dakota. I have family I havent seen in 10 years going. We are trying to make this trip as cheap as possible and have been doing good so far but when it comes to the park tickets.....YIKES!!! We were hoping the military salute things was still going on and my hubby could get a free ticket at least but thats stopped. Anyone have some helpful ideas on getting super cheap tickets. Only need 2 days worth

Hi and :welcome: to DisBoards.

1. The legitimate ticket resellers/discounters do not sell one or two day tickets.

2. Do not, under any circumstances, buy tickets on eBay or Craigslist (or similar). When you get to the parks you may find they do not work and you are out what you paid for them and have no tickets.

3. You can see if you can get two day "Touch of Magic" tickets from a Time Share seller, but then you have to waste several hours and the tickets cannot be modified or upgraded in any way.

4. You might check with your MWR/ITT office and see what is available, or get tickets at Shades of Green on WDW.

5. If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum, especially Posts #2, 5, 6, 18 and 20, you can get a lot more information. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature.

Unfortunately you are kind of out of luck. The way the tickets are set up the cheapest way to do Disney is to get more days.

I wish we could stay longer but we cant because of a base exercise that my husband has to be home for :-(

do you have kids? Depending on the dates you might be able to do a YES program

I think you should check into the shades of green MYW tickets......I was also told by my local MWR that the dis salute were still available for purchase, just had to use them by the end of the month:confused3, you may want to look into that...... The ORC did say it was a base by base thing:goodvibes

If you're military, go to the ticket (ITT) office at Shades of Green (across from the Polynesian) -- they know the latest deals and offer the best pricing for military families.
