Sorry, I can't remember who posted it, but someone said it wouldn't be fair to the server if a guest came in and ordered an app and a few drinks. As a server myself *though not at Disney, which would be great someday* I love the guest who come in and are "easy". Coffee and dessert, heck yes! During "prime dinner time" even better. I know my guest with their coffee and desserts are taken care of, while I'm dealing with the fussy child who keeps spilling his drink. Whew, what a relief.
If you've ever ordered drinks *which are at least $7 a pop* and apps *which can cost almost as much as an entre depending on what you order* you can and probably will be spending more than a normal family, and you'll be easier to deal with than the screaming kids and the frazzled parents.
Sit down and enjoy your dinner. Who cares what you order! I go out to eat way to much, and I never notice what people are eating. Heck, as a server I didn't notice that the guy at the table next to mine ordered THREE entrees, imagine how clueless I am when feeding myself.
I can't wait to go back to Rainforest Cafe in a month or so. There is a drink I am dying to try and a dessert which I couldn't stuff into my tummy. Mmmm. I'll be with my family who will order "real" food and feeding my 9 month old her dinner ...believe me, we take a long time to eat *just cleaning up after my daughter*, but we always tip well.
Wow, I think this thread hit a nerve
