Cheap airfare from Pittsburgh????

Has anyone seen any good rates lately? It seems like they have been hovering around the $200 mark for a couple months now. There are some terrific deals from other cities. I know US Air does have a discounted rate if you can travel on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Unfortunately, I can't. Can anyone help me? I did find a ticket for $158 on Air Tran, but I am a little worried about using them. Thanks for any assistance. BTW, I want to travel in September.

you just missed the 136 rate they had out that was for travel by sep 27th. other wise most of the fares have been hovering around 168.50 for all travel thru oct 31st. what exact dates are you looking for?

We would like to fly on August 31 and come back on Sept. 4. I just called today and they told me the lowest rate for anytime was $205 ($196 plus tax). Will there be specials for Labor Day? I can wait if I need to. This is a bonus trip so it has to be cheap or I can't go. If I don't end up finding anything, it won't be that big of a deal, but I would like to go.

yes that fare was available for that time frame. have you checked the internet yet for any fares? I would suggest checking usairs websight as well as expedia. usair has contracted lower fares with expedia that are sometimes lower than with usair itself. and you will usually find lower fares on theinternet than by calling the 800 nbr and getting general sales. there will definitely be more sales coming out and it should be in the next few days. historically they have had them come out right after the 4th. but check the sight now too. in fact I suggest checking it daily and if possible a few times a day. since I am limited on my computer time right now with my eyes I can't help you check.

I had lasik eye surgery on jun 15th. then one night while I was sleeping I must have taken my goggles off and I rubbed my right eye and inflamed it. it held me back a bit for healing. but I normally check airfare on a daily basis. thats why I said that. but keep checking on it. I have a feeling something will come out again real soon. and unfortunately the best we have is usair for flights to mco the other carriers stink on the schedules to orlando. and the only non stop is usair.
