Thats getting closer to what I would like to pay. I'm looking for flights PDX to MCO for $200. taxs and fees included or lower.
Is that just too unlikely??

Howdy neighbor!

We bought ours a few weeks ago for May, SMF to MCO on Delta for $226 each, taxes included. We've been watching them creep up ever since...

I can't find anything under $379. w/o taxs and fees since the 1st of the year!!

We purchased round trip tickets from LAX to MCO (orlando) nonstop for 192.00. Tax and fees included. Hooray for Hotwire.com

Gabe- I noticed that you are leaving for Orlando in a day- did you just buy those tickets????

I've noticed the prices usually go down on Wed or Thur. I bought our tickets, IND to MCO, 2 weeks ago for $144. It's a good price, same as what we paid last July for our Sept trip. Last Thur the price went down to $136, the lowest I've seen in a while. I called and had the difference applied to our skymiles account for our next ticket purchase. It's only $8, but every penny helps. ;) I'll keep checking to see if it goes down any more and have that added to our skymiles, too.

Karebear1- We purchased them on January 1, 2003.

We were already up all night (this was at 3am), so we figured we try to get a good price. We did. Non stop morning flight going, ann non-stop afternoon return.

We also tried priceline, but they refused my bid of 200.00. They did however come back with a counter offer of 246. Not good enogh.

Prices are constantly changing , so you gotta keep checking.

I bought our ticketst from Indy to MCO last sat and was able to get the flight and the seats I wanted for 136.50 rt leaving in June. I had been watching the delta site for several weeks and that was the lowest price I had found. I went back this week and found that had I waited we would not have gotten 4 seats together. I had tried all the sites and the delta home page was the cheapest for the flight I wanted.

The problem with Priceline is that you have little to no control over when you fly and your connections. I love priceline for hotels and rental cars, but am not willing to deal with that on my flights.

From Portland,OR it already takes 8 hrs to fly to Orlando!!

Can you imagine how many days it would take with 3 or 4 lay overs!! No Thanks!!

We are so tired after 8 hrs,We would be wrecks by the time we finally got to Orlando after boarding and deboarding 6 to 8 times one way!!

We would be better off just to go to DL!!

:smooth: My family is going to WDW in October and I purchased 4 tix from EWR (Newark, NJ) to MCO Non-stop for $211 RT on Continental which includes taxes, etc. I thought that was a great deal. I keep checking their website and the price keeps going up. It was up to $1,076 for all compared to $844.

I guess you just have to hit it at the right moment. I don't even want to keep checking and hearing about lower rates. It'll make you crazy. Priceline is too scary for me:eek: .

Have a great trip.

TTFN,
Maria

Ya know- I was never told when I moved out here to Portland last October that it was an 8 HOUR TRIP to Orlando......
Do you think it's too late to change my mind and move back to Detroit????

Bought our tickets through Southwest for $94 one way, which brought our total for 2 tickets to $450. We are flying from PDX to MCO in June. I was very excited about this fare, as it was lookinglike high $300/tix. Has anyone flown PDX to MCO on Southwest?

I was able to purchase 4 roundtrip tix from Delta from MHT (Manchester, NH) to MCO for $180 each for our trip in July! Woo-Hoo!!!
