:lmao: Well, there seems to be a lot of bow chic a wow wow going on.

Speaking of, where has Staley been lately?

And is your trip in Oct in danger I saw? :scared1:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I am definitely fearful for the October trip. Problem is I think DH is going to push for it whether it is a good idea or not. He could really use a break right now. I just don't know if his people can handle it (there would just be 2 of them) Then if we get that far away and they are still calling - he is going to be even more stressed out :sad2:

Has it been awhile since Megan has been on? I hope all is well with her and the babies!!!!

Alright - we just finished our egg and cheese (minus the egg) sandwiches. I guess that would make it a grilled cheese :lmao: . Dh just called and they are super slow (no one came up this weekend at all) - so I am off to pick up DN. Be back in a few .................

Hello Hyenas!

I'm worn out from spending 2 days at the park. I think all my co workers and family all left by 9pm or before that. We all had sore feet and I had a blister on my toe.

My brother ripped his hands really bad spinning the teacups Saturday. It was too hot and the friction caused his fingers to have blisters that ripped open. I took him to first aide. My older sister had them too but not as bad as my brother.

Oh and my sibs and cusins ate at whitewater yesterday and there was a bug crawling all over my cousin's burger and the CM was so rude to her. I'll tell u guys later but in the end the manager was really nice.

Anyway, my bf and I are in the car on the way to Hollywood. Hope u guys have a great day. :goodvibes:

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:Now I dont go around making dreaded democrats remarks....

As Thumper said "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all.":lmao:

That is my :teacher: for the day.

Did I EVER say I was nice.. pshaw!
:snooty:

And yes they are "dreaded" because they have taken over half of the metro area. Leaving us without a Science Museum to enjoy before school starts, it's across the street from the Xcel center.. the no traffic zone.. thus they are closed for a whole WEEK! :headache:

But I must say.. the Republicans have made the entire metro area deserted. Usually people ahng around Mall of America .. and the water park.. on Labor Day as a last hoorah of summer, it wasn't that busy. From what I have been reading on blogs, forums, newspapers.. lots of people decamped the metro area to avoid the convention.

But now the convention has been overshadowed by Gustov, kudos to the hurricane :thumbsup2:laughing:

No seriously, just kidding .. what the huricane is doing to the poor people in those areas is terrible.
Note to self: Head over to FunnyG's for 4th of July next year. So we can see her unique cable/pulley system that will make her glide thru the trees in her Tinkerbell outfit with glowing xmas lights on!

:lmao: :lmao: I can see it now!

I can use it for next year's Christmas photo!! SWEET!

Not fair DH took all my eggs to work this morning

What will you sit on all day? How long until they hatch? Still, it's nice of him to give you a break.

She's hatching one of these... snicker snicker..

The Dreaded Republicans!! EEEEEEEEK RUN!

yep.. I do have me an evil streak going. :rolleyes1
And Alison is rolling in the funnies herself. Pssst, can I have some Prozac too, hubby needs to be de-grumbled.. or I need to be "I don't care that he is grumbly as life is good and happy ... " ? ;)

I'm tired from swimming all day.

Off to set up dialysis..

Makes sense! I didn't even know those existed or I would have been serving them to my kids years ago.

Are you 2 hours difference from Florida? We are 3, so we take advantage of eating a late lunch 2-3pm, because it's like eating at 5-6pm for us. The lunch menus aren't quite as extensive, but the prices are definitely better. Not only that, my kids were absolutely quiet while watching all the fish in the aquarium. This was during spring break and maybe 5-6 other tables had people at them. Everyone's kids were watching the fish, so it was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop. I loved it! Not to mention that it was quiet, dark & cool. A nice place to walk into from the heat & humidity.:thumbsup2

Sam- Aside from time clock dislexia:confused: ... again you are 3 hours earlier than Florida not later:rotfl: :rotfl: That means when it is 2-3pm here it is 11am-noon in Washington.:sad2: Remember you cannot call me after work because I am asleep and I tend to wake your grumpiness up at some unGodly hour when I call you in the morning because your daughter is sunburned beyond belief and I need someone to fax a photo ID to the Urgent Care Clinic :lmao: Remember this and you shall never forget the time zones again.

Hi, all. :)

Just a quickie since it's dinnertime and I haven't made dinner yet.

I had lunch with my neighbor-friend today to discuss DS's teacher assignment. (I'll talk about that later if anyone's really wanting to know...) Came back to stay with the kids while DH did the grocery shopping. Then off to the hair salon to get poodled.

I seriously hate the first few weeks of the perm. First, you can't wash it for a few days. Second, you look sort of ridiculous. (Oh, right, I'm the one who looks ridiculous.) :headache: Third, it takes a week or two to calm down a bit and look more human and less poodle.

On the plus side, the perm is so dang curly you really can't tell that I desperately need a color to mask the gray! :lmao:

So that's next month...

OK, off to make dinner now. I'll stop by again later and see if anyone is on. I warn you, though, I will have to go to bed early, because...

Tomorrow is the first day of school!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2: :cheer2:

What is wrong with the world? I'll tell you what is wrong, curtains!!!!!!!!! I have went from store to store to store to store to store trying to find simple yellow curtains. Apparently they don't exist! So we now have white shears and a purple sash over the top. Which DD somehow seems to think will match perfectly fine with her yellow comforter.

Let me rephrase that! Eating at 3pm is like eating a big lunch! I knew it was some kind of meal that I was eating at the wrong time!!:rotfl:

I believe that was about 5am when you called!:rotfl:

yellow and purple?

hmm, well at least it will be cheerful :flower3:

We got our curtains at Walmart, but at the time we didn't care what color they were.. as long as we had enough to cover the whole bank of windows in living room and kitchen.

We have blinds ( basic cheapie off white.. or white depending which window and room you look at.. yes the apt manager is really that stupid to have different colored blinds) but they still let in the heat of the beating sun.

Now we have red curtains, making for an interesting "look" on a sunny day.. hubby thought he had walked into a bordello or a film developer dark room

snifle sniffle, I need chocolate .. and an adult icey like beverage.. it doesn't even need to be half melted

waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

I have natural wood blinds on living room & master bedroom windows. White faux wood blinds in master bathroom, some white lacy things in the family room and kitchen, white cheapie vinyl blinds in DS's room, white cotton w/butterfly in kids bathroom and now purple and white sheers in DD's room. But of course you must realize that her room is a mixture of 1,000 motocross posters on her walls and ceilings, with splashes of really girly stuff throughout. Now sheer girly curtains, that seem to clash with her princess crown collection!:rotfl:
