That's the same thing I told DD. Heck they even housesat a few times when DH & I were at the beach for the weekend and I decided to call on my cell phone when were were about 30 minutes away from coming home. There are just some things I don't want to deal with and that's one of them!

I ordered a cake for my mom's bday and picked it up today from the bakery. I called my grandma (one who lives @ my parents house) to tell her in case she had planned to ask my aunt to get a cake) and I tell her I got a cake and then I tell her not to tell. Then she holds the phone away and tells my mom! Argh!!! I tell my mom and she turns to my grandma and says: "Why did you tell me? She said it was a surprise and not to tell me!" and she said: "she didn't say that" and I said: "Yes I did!" Oi vay

Gotta love grandparent's. It's like they just don't even hear a word you tell them. So what kind of cake did you get?

Well, you will notice that I am friends with Albert Einstein (not to be confused with Albort Einstein) and he was quite helpful as a study partner when I got my Rocket Science degree.

I know! I got a vanilla cake with peaches and strawberries mixed with the filling and also had them put some peaches and strawberries on the top (around the edges). It's from a Chinese bakery that's been around forever. Their cakes are really good and it's very light and isn't too sweet. It's good
