Morning and happy Saturday!
Well I am up early cuz dh's alarm went off at 4:30 ugh!! They got up but I actually slept in till 5:30. I prob could have slept in longer but I couldn't sleep so I went ahead and got up. They are gone off to the meet and I am here checking in with you all. The service is not till 11 so I will be home fiddling around here till then.
Yesterday turned out so so. It never did rain but was overcast and muggy for most of the morning and I wore long pants and a long sleeve shirt because it looked cold but then when I got to the school it warmed up and between that and the fact that the girls ASSURED me that they would feed us which they didn't I came home with a massive headache. I should have known better and actually intended to eat a little something just in case but got busy and never did. We got there and they assigned us to stations and mine was the snow cone machine!
Had a nice visit with one of the other mom friends I have known since Shelby was in kindergarten so had a nice visit with her and when Katy came through the line I snagged some of her popcorn 
The kids got hot dogs and chips and then after their lunch they got to play a bunch of games. I felt bad for the kids who didn't make their goal as they had to stay in their class and do homework 
. BUT I guarantee next year they will work harder!!
Anyway then I came home and hung out a bit and had to turn right round and get them a few hours later and then we went to the extra swim practice. Normally we don't have practice on Fridays till after school gets out but since we have missed so many because of the rain they added one so we went to that and then I just ran and grabbed a rice bowl from Jack in the box for dinner. We were orig supposed to go out with my parents but I was not in the mood between the way they were acting and then with my headache. The team never DID post the meet program which I am bummed about cuz we like to get an idea of what the girls are swimming. I am pretty sure Katy will be in both the medley relay and free relay again and I am almost positive she will be swimming the fly again just not sure about the other two indiv events. They have to swim every event at least once during the season and she did the free and 50 free last time so she still has to swim the IM and breast eventually. So not sure if they will have her swim one of the strokes she hasn't done yet or what she did last time. Oh and she has to swim back stroke too. But anyway on our old team they would always post it on the wall at practice by thur or Fri at the latest the day before the meets but this team is really bad about that and it is SO frustrating. Last time we got it at 10 o'clock the night before and this time NOTHING. I am really going to miss not getting to see the girls swim too because Katy is doing SO well this year and it is so exciting! But I must go to the memorial. This is going to be a very emotional day to I am afraid. Last week at this time it was quite emotional as well as he was dying and now this week we need to say goodbye. Of course they say it is going to be a "celebration" of his life so perhaps it will be more of a positive thing and not too depressing but alas I still feel that upon recollection when realizing that he is no longer with us it will still be sad. I know when trying to go through the pictures for the service I was saddened to think that his life was cut short. He was still VERY young and lively and had a lot of life left in him. I also can't help but think about my dad and it is scary to say the least! I have had a lot of dreams the last week about the what if's.
Anyway enough of that.
Sara I am glad that things went fairly well in court and I hope they continue to go in your cousin's favor!
Everyone else I hope you all have a good weekend!!
Oh and Sara I am sorry you had a stressful few days but I know you will have fun at DL to make up for it!!

I know it's hard but try to box away the "what ifs" because all it does is make you anxious and sad. I know the reality, I know chances are that things will get rough and be very sad "some day". Live in the moment, embrace what is now and savor every morsel of it. And laugh, smile and enjoy the craziness of your life. 
. and now i am trying to decide if i want to go to 
last night was awesome! saw the 80's allstarz. they were fun to watch the guitarist that wears the DEVO hat Is super H O T!!!!!
, and well the band is good at what they do witch is play 80's music. and of course a crowd favorite they played footloose!! and of course the line dancers got there line dance on( i don't know the dance yet).it was fun though. rode on snow white--love that ride. did california screamin love that also. rode on matterhorn, yep love it! and oh tea cups--well don't love that one soo much anymore, to much of the spinny for me! 
WOC is right around the corner, still havn't decided if i want to battle it out on saturday the 12th with the crowds or not! or wait till i can do my own "opening" night myself the right way, complete with a dinner at Naples and maybe a prosecco to celebrate 
..hmm havn't decided!! i was playing around on youtbe this weekend and found many videos of them testing late at night WOC. it was pretty awesome! and that is all i am going to tell you so i don't spoil it! 
but i wanted to pay what i have put on my credit card before i go see WOC, becuase i wanted to take my self out on a "date" ..(lol lol) and have a great dinner etc then see it! 
The meals don't go on sale until the 11th. Do you think this means at midnight?
