Well, about the big blow-up... :lmao:

The first time he told me, he came barrelling into the office (I was on the computer, obviously) and blurted out that he'd just gotten in a big argument with the wacky neighbor, and he told her off. She had yelled at him that he shouldn't have used bad words (I think he told her to pull her head out of her you-know-what) and he apologized for that, but he still stood by everything else he'd said. She started to cry and ran into her house. Her husband apparently had been nearby, and DH told him what he'd said and that he'd apologized for using bad language. Her husband, instead of defending his wife or standing up for her in any fashion, agreed with DH and said "she was just having a bad day." That kinda ticked DH off even more, because he wasn't defending his own woman. :lmao:

When I went downstairs to finish dinner preparations, DS7 told me that "Daddy and {the neighbor} had an argument." I said, "Yes, I know. Did Daddy tell you?" and he said no, he'd heard them. :sad2:

I told him, "Well, honey, she wasn't being very nice to Daddy, and Daddy got upset and wasn't very nice back." He nodded in agreement.

DH had a chance to cool down over dinner, and as we showered the boys I asked exactly how it started. At first he'd made it sound like she had started it by complaining that we weren't giving her enough attention on the evening of the 4th. As soon as we stepped out front of the house to set off our fireworks, they appeared. The husband came over (as usual), but she hung back, which I thought was odd. I had already been worried about being polite to them with as much as she annoys me, so I wasn't going to approach, and DH of course was busy with the fireworks. I busied myself with the kids, but did talk a bit with the DH and her mother when they came over.

I never did speak much to any of them, nor did they to us, and when we were done we went back inside our house. So for her to complain that we weren't being friendly (when she barely spoke to us herself) just got DH's goat, and he told her that was rich, since she came over into HIS yard and barely spoke to either of us. And it went downhill from there. :lmao:

Well, the calmed down version was slightly different...

The calmed down version went something like this:

He's outside in our yard, and she and her husband start to chat with DH as usual. (I tell ya, he steps outside, and they're RIGHT THERE, it's really weird.) Anyway, she starts going on about how shy she is, which really irks him, because not only does he not consider her shy, she tells far too much extremely personal information for his liking.

So she's going on about how shy she is, and he laughs and says she's not. She is offended and insists she is. He reminds her that she has told him personal details that no one but her husband should be privy to (like the fact that she gets a Brazilian wax), and she has the audacity to call American women *****s... and it went downhill from there.

I said, "Wow. That's a whole different story. You goaded her into it." He said he didn't mean to, and I laughed and said, "Honey, you are the smartest person I know. You absolutely meant to! But my question is, WHY NOW? She's said so many offensive things this past year, and you've just let it roll off your back. Why now?" and he admitted he didn't know.

He feels kinda bad now, but I said I disagreed with how it happened, but it needed to happen. She's been so offensive and so inappropriate with him, and it seems to take something like a brick over the head to get her to realize enough is enough.

So... Shouldn't be having to worry about her hanging around us this summer, at least not for a few weeks. :woohoo:

Hiya, Sam. :)

What's the weather like? We finally got some sun about an hour ago. :confused3

popcorn:: This is some good reading Alex. just wanted to let you know I'm here and almost to the calm version.

Hey Alison!!

Nothing new here.. Well, we did find a killer new Mexican place. It is down the street from us, but it is one of those walk up places.. So we have never been there, seeing as how I have a sensitive tummy and it is one of those places that just LOOKS like it would give you the poos..

It is ALWAYS really busy, and is open pretty early in the morning until fairly late at night. We decided to give it a go this morning.. OMG!!! YUM!!! Taco HEAVEN!!! REAL tacos!! REAL TACOS!!!! The carnitas.. omg... carnitas HEAVEN!! The asada... The tamales werent all that great, but everything else we had.. OMG!!! YUM!! It was amazing.. and CHEAP. We ate so much, and were moaning in a most obscene way through the whole meal. :lmao: :lmao: Thankfully we brought the food home to eat it!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hi Alex! It's been about 70 all day, a few sunbreaks, a few clouds. But it looks like the clouds are getting thinner. It's kind of hard to tell if the sun's out or not. We are in the trees and in between two hills, so after about 6pm, the sun disappears behind the hill.

My vacuum died today, so I had to make a trip to town to get a new one. Got the most awesome vacuum (by sheer luck). It was on sale at Kohl's and is the most awesome vacuum. I had just about finished vacuuming the floor, got home with the new vac and I was totally amazed at how much more I picked up, I kept emptying the cup over and over again. I got an entire 1/2 paper grocery sack full of dirt! I have truly never seen anything like it! It's cleaning like a $500 vacuum instead of a $79 vacuum!

Hey, G! Is this gonna be a full house tonight? Where's Gina???
