I just got a youtube account and can actually be on for the podcast tomorrow, but how do I live chat?

I'm hoping I don't just turn my alarm off in my sleep tomorrow... Last week was a tough week for me.

Ok, so just go to the disunplugged YouTube page and select the right vid (it will be 01/19/16 obvs) and there's a chat window beside the video viewer.
Yes, it's THAT simple!

Be warned: now that we are all in the youtubes, the chat goes so fast, you can barely keep up.
The universal chat is much more manageable, and you can imagine the shenanery that occurs!

If I can actually remember, today will be the first time I watch live (I think ... I may have watched once in November or something, but that was forever ago). If the chat moves so fast ... is it really worth trying to keep up? Do interesting things happen in the chat? Or am I better off just watching the podcast and ignoring the chat?

I think Chat adds something to it. You often get a few more details, plus the friendship is great.

I think so. Mostly I just read the chat as I watch the show and it ads a fun, irreverent spark. I've only joined in once and because I am new to chat found it took a bit of concentration to post and watch the show at the same time. I didn't want my comment to show up long after the topic had passed and the gang had moved onto something new. I'm sure it gets much easier with practice. ps I've never found any bullies in this chat. All welcoming, good-natured people who just love a good laugh.

I can't watch live today but should be able to watch the rest of the shows live this week if they are live. School usually prevent live watching except for the summer.

But Jes is some kind of supernatural Aussie goddess who wakes up at 4am and chats while taking a shower, curling her hair and eyelashes, applies eyeliner and preps for work. The rest of us are in awe. I can barely tie my own shoelaces. And certainly not at 4am.

I was in-and-out on chat (I still can't get used to the idea of setting aside an hour of my day when I'm used to doing 5 things at once on the computer, so I kept switching to different things), but it was fun to see some familiar faces and I definitely enjoyed reading the chat comments!

And no worries! Everyone does, I tend not to get bent out of shape about it because I'm the one who spells it different to the accepted spelling, so I don't feel it's right to worry about it.
I spell Jessica the correct way.
Although, my sisters, in their lazy Australian way, actually drop the 'i' out of my name (most Aussies do, that's if they don't automatically just call me Jes because we like to shorten everything... See: Maccas is McDonalds) so they call me "Jesca"
I love hearing Americans say Jessica, sounds so good
