The email option showed up for me just now as well. If you send a manual email to the address above, you'll have to be sure to provide all your info or you'll have to wait for the response asking for that, reply, and THEN your email will be answered. Using the form seems easier to me.

While we're on the topic, does anyone else get chat appearing at odd times during the day? I'm in So Cal, and I virtually NEVER see chat available in the morning. For you East Coasters, is chat actually only available in the afternoons for you?

It just depends on whether or not anyone is available for it.

Well, of course, but it’s still helpful to use the chat feature on the MDE side too (as other posters have mentioned) 😉

For sure! I use chat most of the time. I've just had a couple of specific instances where I wanted to get something in writing, so email is the way to go for that. For example, I wanted confirmation that a contract that was in ROFR when the big blue card restriction announcement came out didn't carry the restriction. I received an email back specifically confirming that it had been "coded" as such and would allow me all the blue card perks. (for whatever that's worth these days :rolleyes: )

You can also print and save chats, so I consider them to be “in writing” too.
 
This is true. I wish they'd email you a transcript like other sites (stores, banks, etc.) do, but I guess we can't have everything.
There is an option to have them email transcripts. I have done it before. The issue is that sometimes there is a glitch, and it doesn't always work.
