...with all the trimmings today. Mmmmmm mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing with lots of sauteed onion & celery, fresh broccoli with horseradish sauce. Got some good wine, too!

I invited my in-laws, brother, sister-in-law and nephew. I am trying to chase away these winter blues with a "pretend holiday."

I am sick of looking at snow, scraping ice off my windshield, freezing in temperatures under 20 and dealing with that nasty static in my hair!!!

The smell of the turkey in the oven is definitely helping!! So are the two margaritas I just polished off!

What are you doing to chase the winter blues?

still have three more in the freezer......I love to have turkey and all the fixings at least three or four times after the holidays.....nothing like a good smell and meal-

Good for you!

I enjoy the turkey so much more when it is NOT a holiday--there is always some measure of stress to make sure the turkey is perfect on T-giving.

You must have a big freezer--wish I could fit one in my townhouse--I would buy and freeze a bunch of turkeys when they are on sale!

Same here.

We're looking at 8" of snow here by tomorrow tonight. I bought a turkey yesterday to make tomorrow while we are all stuck inside.

I love turkey, it's cheap, nutritious, and every age group seems to like it.

herc.

MMMMMMMMMMM. Now you did it. That sounds so good, I'm gonna have to go shopping.
