I see they give you a 200 credit for opening a card, is it instant or does it take months?? Was thinking of purchasing MVMCP tickets it seemed like a real good deal then pay off and cancel later..

Is the offer for a $200 rewards or a gift card? I signed up last month for the Premiere Visa last month and needed to spend $500 in 3 months fro a $200 gift card. I have met the $500 amount and am waiting for the gift card. Their website says 6-8 weeks but I think people are getting the gift card faster than that. The $49 annual fee is now on my account, it posted around 30 days after I got the credit card.

I am not sure, I was looking at prices for the christmas tickets and showed me if I signed up I get a statement credit of 200 so it showed it would only cost me 192 instead of 392 for the tickets..hmmmmmm

I would check out the details of the card; there could be miniumuns you need to charge before you get the credit. The Premiere card has a $49 annual fee which I was willing to pay the first year to get the $200 gift card, I will cancel it before I have to pay the fee next year and go back to using my regular Disney Visa card.

If it's a statement credit, the $200 will become available when your statement closes. So, no, you couldn't apply that $200 to your ticket purchase.

But if your statement closes before or during you trip you COULD use the $200 while you're in WDW. :thumbsup2
