I apologize if this has been asked and answered before, but I have some questions about booking flights.

I would like to transfer some of my Chase UR points to Southwest as RR points. I would like to then use those RR points to book flights for myself and another household member. I noticed on the UR website that you can only transfer points to yourself and one other authorized cardholder. If the household member I want to book flights for has their own RR account and is not an authorized cardholder, does that mean I can't use my points to book their flight? I thought people did this for their families, so I'm just trying to figure out if I'm missing something.

Thank you!

You can use your points, but you have to book the family member's flight through your RR account. When you book, you enter the family member's RR number. If you cancel or change the flight you must do so through your RR account or the family member can do it through the app.

Thank you! I've never done this before so I'm trying to make sure I have it all figured out. First, I transfer enough UR points for both of us to my RR account. Then, when I go to book the flight I still enter the other RR account number for that family member, but it will pull the points from my account to purchase it?

Yes. Keep your RR number for your flight and use the family member's RR for his/her flight.

Yep. 1. Transfer URs to you RR acct. 2. Book a flight for two (doesn't even have to be a RR acct holder or household member) using your new transferred rewards. 3. Love SW and have used my RR acct to book my whole fam's flights many times!
