Chase portal flights missing

On June 8 I booked roundtrip flights STL to/from MCO for our June WDW trip through the the Chase portal using points plus charge the balance for myself, husband, and our youngest. Later I booked the other two kids on the return flights with us (they're going down with the school band). Using the app I was able to choose seats for all of our flights (two down and two back). Later hat evening I called Delta to get the two reservations linked and was told by a very pleasant Delta rep I'd done a good job!

Today I was looking at the Delta app to tell a kiddo how long until our trip and the reservations were no longer in the app. Checked the website -- nada. Texted with Delta and they said there were no tickets associated with the reservations and I needed to call Chase. WHAT?

I call Chase and sure enough, something happened and they didn't fully complete the reservations somehow so ALL our reservations are gone. I'm on the phone still with a rep (going on 45 minutes now) and she has to cancel our initial reservations and rebook the flights for both groups.

Has anyone else had this happen before? Do I need to keep monitoring to make sure they don't disappear again? I'm a little freaked out right now.

What card did you use to book? Chase changed their portal provide last year for all cards except the Sapphire Reserve. I wonder if your reservation slipped through the cracks during the change.
 
I used the Freedom Unlimited.

They were able to book all the flights again and I can see mine, hubby's, and youngest's on the Delta website, but they said it could take 24 hours to see the other one. I'm not certain it actually will show up on the portal without my calling Delta to link the reservation, but we'll see.

While the price on Delta's site had gone up, I was not charged the increased fee, according to the rep. I'm going to go ahead and select seats again and just hope for the best. Hopefully this was a one-off. Did a number on my anxiety though, that's for sure!
 
Sounds like Chase did everything they could to make it right once the mistake was realized. I would chock it up to the portal provider changing. If it happens again or we start seeing more DPs of it happening, then I would start getting anxious.
