Chase Disney rewards card...

So I have a random request. My daughter just got invited to go to Disneyland with a friend next week. I want to redeem reward dollars for her to spend, but I'm obviously too late to request a card in the mail. Is anyone here going to be in the park today or tomorrow who wouldn't mind picking one up at guest services and mailing it to me, so I can call and load it? It should easily make it to me in Utah in a day or two, which would give me plenty of time. I know she could probably get one there and call me with the number, but it would stress her out- she's only 13. I'd be more than happy to pay for postage and time.

I realize this is a weird request, but figured it would be worth a shot!

Also, if anyone has suggestions of things to send with her that she might need, apart from money to spend, that'd be great. I'm used to being the boss of the family at Disneyland- I carry everyone's tickets, all the credit cards, camera, etc. Will she do better with a small purse? A backpack? Is there a lanyard that would be secure enough to carry her tickets/ rewards card (assuming we find one!) without falling apart? Time is short, so I need to hurry and figure this all out!

Have you tried calling Disney Visa Rewards about this? It is possible that you could authorize your daughter or her friend's parent to pick up a card at Guest Services, then you could have your points loaded onto that card. From what I've heard, it really is a quick, painless procedure, so it shouldn't be stressful. Or there may be a way to expedite shipping so the card gets to you ASAP.

You're right- it really isn't a hard process. I'm thinking that is what we'll end up doing- luckily she's going with two families and the moms happen to be two of my best friends, so I know they'll help her out. It would have been nice to have the card pre-loaded and ready to go for her, but without enough time, there just isn't another option. If I remember correctly from picking up a card in the park last time I went, they just hand you a card and then you call the phone number, give them the card digits and your account information, and then it's ready to go. She should be able to call me with the card numbers and then just go have fun while I call and make the arrangements. At least that's what I'm hoping...

I'm still having a little bit of heart failure sending my kiddo without me. I can't decide if it's nerves because I hate my kids being away from me, or intense jealousy that I can't go with her.
