I keep seeing negative comments about Chase Credit Cards. We have had them for about 20 years and never had any issues.
Yesterday I got a call from on of their customer service reps who left a message saying that my CC had been compromised and to call back. I didn't recognize the number she left, so I just called the 800 number on the back of my card to be sure.
Well, sure enough, someone had used my card to make a $1,000 purchase. Thankfully, Chase had called the person and asked for verification and the person didn't have my info so they didn't proceed with the charge.
I am going to have to wait for a new card and number and will have to change all my auto payments and online buying numbers, but at least they caught it and I will get all new numbers.
