I have 2 credit cards with chase one is rewards and the other freedom. Well about a month ago I received a phone call from chase and they asked me if I charged 12 different charges ($325.00) with usps to mail packages out with my Chase Rewards credit card
I almost had a heart failure "NO" I said. Chase took those charges off and closed my account and gave me a new credit card.
Now yesterday...I received another call, yes another call from chase Not the rewards card this time but my freedom chase credit card. This person charged only 2 times one on Tuesday and one on yesterday. needless to say now my freedom card with chase is now closed and I will get a new one sent to my house soon. btw, the 2 charges were mail order..figures.
what the heck is going on, Is it just my great luck or is there a problem with chase maybe someone is hacking into their system getting credit card numbers?? Has anyone had this problem recently I just feel it to be really weird that less than a month ago I had another issue with chase and someone getting my number. I have an american express card too no problems here, ugh...

The rep was very nice and went through all the recent charges, removed the ones I said were fraudulent, then closed the card and sent us new ones pretty quickly.
