Is there a chart anywhere that gives the average travel times from each resort to each park? For example, I'm wondering how long the bus ride from the Polynesian is to AK, etc.

TIA!

There is one in the Unofficial Guide. You can either purchase it or just run to the bookstore and check the chart for the info you need.
I would suggest purchasing it. I had been 10-20 times before reading one a few years ago and I still found it worth the money for both tips and little known info.

Here's a list of Distances between WDW Resorts and Parks:

Assume that the actual TRAVEL time (bus in motion) will be between 5 and 25 minutes, depending on your points of origin/destination.

Longest trips will be from resorts that "loop internally" to pick up other guests before heading out to their destinations.

Just remember, when going from resort to resort you usually have to go to a park or DTD and you have to assume additional wait time for another mode of transportation to come.

Sorry.. I thought it said resort to resort. But either way keep my tip in mind. :)

assume it will be 40 min. from when you leave your room. this has no bearing on weather you stop to eat, visit the arcade, shop, etc. It will always be 40 min from when you leave the room.
