charm bracelets

About 12 years ago, I bought a collector's, sterling silver, numbered, charm bracelet that started with a dalmation puppy. New charms came out every month or two, and they were numbered also. I missed two charms for that bracelet: tinkerbell and Mrs. Potts. I have the puppy, the Genie, Pinochio, and the little mermaid. I would love to see if anyone has extras. Does anyone know what I am talking about? I have searched ebay to see if anyone has these, and have seen none. I did get the sterling silver bracelet and all the charms for the Princess bracelet. I would sure appreciate any help finding some place to check on these. At the time, the charms were priced at around 40.00 each. I have been thinking about selling the princess bracelet since it is complete, but have never seen thse mentioned anywhere. Thanks in advance for any help....

Hi,

I have the bracelet you are talking about. The hardest charms to find, if you didn't buy them from the Disney Store when they were originally released, are Mrs. Potts charm and the dalmatian. The dalmatian was the starter charm because it came attached to the bracelet. These were issued before most people were aware of the bracelet or charm series. They do show up on Ebay, but not frequently. I bought the one I missed from an ad in Tomart's Disneyana update. You might try the Disneyana Exchange or put "Disney limited edition charms" into a search engine.

The Disney Store did other limited edition charm bracelets: Pooh family, princesses, Snow White, and I think there was one other.

Thank you for your help. My bracelet has the dalmation attatched, also. I was always sad that I missed two charms. I have thought about selling the princess bracelet on ebay. I will search for the missing charms.
