Charm Bracelets

Hi! I have heard about the charm bracelets you can get at Disney but I was wondering if you can get them in both adult and child sizes. DD and I are going in August and this would be a great mom/daughter gift. Are there different charms for all the parks or are they all the same everywhere? It would make a fun treasure hunt looking for different charms to add to our bracelets.

I saw two different types.

There were sterling silver charms, bracelets and necklaces available in both sizes. The charms were similar in cost to the collectible pins, I think, and were on the same rotating display racks as the pins. There were many different charms available, but they were not really specific to the location. There are available in most stores.

Then there was a kids charm bracelet and neclace station in many stores. This was like a table set up with plexiglass bins of charms, strings, plastic bracelets and chains. The idea is for kids to design their own jewelry, but it wasn't cheap. Charms were $5 and up. My girls couldn't walk past these tables without stopping to stick their hands in the bins to play with the charms.

I know they carry both the traditional charm bracelets and the Italian charm bracelets as well. I know that you can buy the regular charm bracelets for both mother and daughter. They are the open link type that are adjustable. I bought one for my daughter and it will grow with her. It is sterling silver and cost $23. Charms run approx $12 and up. I paid $16 for a sterling silver Mickey head charm. The bracelet came with a Tink charm already attached and she has a second Tink charm from her first visit. I don't know anything about the Italian charm bracelets so can't help you there. I know they had some bracelets/charms that were less expensive but they were not sterling silver.

Sorry, forgot to add, I don't know about the selection in the parks, or resorts. I always buy ours at World of Disney in DTD and they have a great selection.

I have a charm bracelet from there, and I believe they come in two sizes, adults and childrens. They have a 'cheaper' one, which is sterling silver. They have little stands in various stores that sell different charms with characters. Last time I bought one, which was the last year or two, it was about $6 for one charm. And the charms were VERY cute!!

They also have fancier ones, which can come in gold or silver. They are sold on the turning racks in stores. I think those charms are more expensive, but much nicer too.

well i have a charm bracelet with all of the disney princesses and a necklace that i put the other charms on. they are really cute i dont know the price but they are the ones that are in a large open display and they have them in most of the gift shops and arnt like sterling silver but many are colored and they have lots of diffrent characters

My charm bracelet is one of my most favored souveniers from WDW. I liked that each park had it's own charm. I got one from each park and several others that were special to me (Jiminy Cricket, Tink, Castle, etc) I bought the silver one with the little Tink on it. It was a fun thing to do each day to search for "the charm of the day". My DDIL chose the Italian charm bracelet and enjoyed searching for special charms for it. I think you and your dtr. will really enjoy it. I bought the bracelet and first charms in the resort gift shop.
