Charlie and the Angel?

This is airing 12:00 on the Hallmark Movie Channel. Has anyone ever heard of this? I didn't even realize it was a Disney movie until I looked it up? It's amazing how many of the early 1970's movies by Disney I have never seen~

Unfortunately I don't get the Hallmark Movie Channel. I would love to add this to my DVD collection. Alot of those type of movies were shown on Sunday nights Wonderful World of Disney program.

Charley and the Angel stars Fred MacMurray as Charley, Henry Morgan (Col Potter from Mash) as the Angel and Kurt Russell as one of the sons. It is set in Prohabition era. Charley is dead and Angel brings him back to help get his sons away from moonshine runners. It is a cute little comedy.

I love this movie. Fred MacMurray made so many great Disney movies. One of my favorites of his is Follow me boys.

Toss up between Follow Me Boys and Happiest Millionaire. I wish Disney would do collections. There could be a set with Fred MacMurray, Dean Jones, Hailey Mills, Annette, Tommy Kirk just to name a few.

I haven't watched this fantasy - comedy movie of 70's.
