Charging To Your Room Question

Charging meals to your room seems like a great deal (as long as you pay off the card when you get home.) I'm dreaming about all those rewards already. LOL

Can you charge counter-service meals as well?

You can charge almost ANYwhere at Disney. The exceptions are the smaller cart kind of places where they sell ice cream, popcorn, etc.

Actually, as of a couple weeks ago, there is a new wireless network active so that you can even charge at the carts at MK and Epcot (and ultimately, all the parks). Haven't done this myself, but read about it, so don't know how well it works, but now there is even less reason to ever carry cash!

We were just there last week and used the room card for everything. Even at the popcorn/icecream stands..

It worked out very well. I do not like to carry cash personally. If I have it, Im gonna spend it. The card makes me think if I really need it. If you dont use your room card, you can use your credit card/debit card.

How cool is that...a totally cashless Disney trip...except for the penny machines. LOL

Thanks everyone...that makes planning much easier. I always worry about cash at hotels.
