charging to the room

I was wondering if it is possible to charge back to the room on 2 different credit cards? Since a friend is coming with on this trip she wanted to be able to charge back to the room but on her card. Since each room key is a different # and assigned I was curious if it is possible? Thanks.

we were told at check in that if you have two seperate reservations (not two rooms under the same reservation) that you can do this with two different credit cards.

You can only tie ONE credit card to your room for charging purposes.

What you can do though is stop at the front desk each day, and get a print out of your statement. Each charge will have the card number that was used to make the purchase. So you can just add up all your friend's charges.

If your friend needs to use a credit card to pay, he or she can either go to a bank and request a cash advance on the credit card, or just stop by any of the ATMs to take out some cash.

Although it's a nice perk to be able to charge back to your room, it's also true that anywhere (I think!) that takes the room key will also be happy to charge to your friend's standard credit card. When we have stayed at the Swan or Dolphin we still carried very little cash & used our Visa all over WDW.

I was thinking that too! The one advantage is that if you lose your room key, you just go back to the front desk.

If you lose your credit card....well....we all know what a pain the butt that is!
