Charging to room question

Is there a limit as to how much money you can charge on the room key/ticket? And--if so--can I go to the front desk of our resort half-way through the trip and pay it all off, and then be able to charge the max amount again?

I believe there is a tiered limit depending on which category your resort is. If I remember correctly value resorts had a limit of $500 daily, deluxe had a limit of $1500 daily. Moderates were somewhere between the two.

The spending limit at the Moderate Resorts is $1000.

Yes, you can have your card charged at any point during your stay and start the credit limit over again. Also, if you find that you try to use your charge and are not able to because it is at your limit, you can have the shop call the front desk of your resort and you can do this process over the phone.

This has happened to me a couple times and it is a very quick and painless process.
